All the delegates, photographers, fashionistas and socialites decent on Wynyard Quarter for the offical day one of New Zealand Fashion Week 2016.
Show One: First show for the day was Salasai, starting it off with dramatic flower prints, patches and over sized knits. Surrounded by an amazing geometric wooden framing, holding large prints. It was a catwalk come exhibition as models posed in parts of the framing until the end of the set.
Show Two: Elizabeth Wilson's contemporary styled label Eugenie, displayed their A/W 17 collection. 0800-Versus-Envy featured many vibrant colours, denim, velvet and more, but somehow all worked well together. The label also featured Deadly Ponies handbags on each model, which I loved!
Show Three: French 83 - menswear. I wasn't sure what to expect with this show, but taking it all in my stride I was quite impressed with the mix of formal menswear and casual on show. Ending with half of the models sitting on stools made quite a statement.
Show Four: Miss Crabb on K' Road. A red carpet laced K' road side walk stunned most passers by, until the models jumped off a bus wearing crabb silk, strutting straight up into Las Vegas Club. A different take to the traditional fashion week catwalk, but included the general public and created quite a scene.
