Bedroom Mood board
I find I'm always taking pieces out, re-aranging others, and I guess thats good, you get to keep things fresh. Being young and being at home means that I don't have much say when it comes to the rest of the house, so the bedroom is where I get to style to my hearts content.
I have spent a long time scrolling through the archives of Pinterest to try and get a sense of what I do like and what I don't like, unfortunately - light wooden floors are at the top of my list, but I'm not sure if ill be able to convince the rest of the household that they need washed wood floors everywhere else too! "Lets rip up the carpet and see what's under there - It'll be exciting" I say. Not too convincing.
I figured i could deal with the beige carpet (as it fits into the colour scheme alright) if I could style everything else right. Enter, Polyvore to create endless room looks without the need for my lack of knowledge of photoshop, Bingo!
I'm trying to stick very neutral (whites, greys, blacks and browns), and add colour where it can easily be changed out - In plants, books, smaller prints and small decor. Textural wise go for linens, like my wish for white linen curtains, and possibly a braided wool rug I've been eyeing up.
